▾   How will I receive updates for my items?

All plugins purchased on this site include a license for automatic updates for one year. When an updated version of your plugin becomes available, it will be delivered to your WordPress dashboard.

Please note that plugin updates require an active license on your site. You have the option of purchasing a license for 1 site, 2–5 sites, or unlimited sites. (See your plugin’s guide for how to activate your license.)

After one year, if you would like to continue receiving security and maintenance updates, you must renew your license.

You can also download purchased files by logging in to your account. Access to re-download purchased files will be granted so long as your license key is valid. If a license key expires, download access to the associated files will be discontinued until such time as the license key is renewed.

Accounts and Billing

▾   Help, I can’t log in to my account!

If you are having trouble logging into your account, please send us an email and we’ll sort it out ASAP. Be sure to include your name and email address with which you originally registered. If you don’t remember either one, send us as many details as you remember. For example, what item you purchased, the date of purchase, etc.

▾   What is your refund policy?

We firmly believe in and stand behind our product 100%, but we understand that it cannot work perfectly for everyone all of the time. If you are unhappy with your purchase, or you have an issue that we are unable to resolve that makes the system unusable, we will be happy to consider offering a refund.

Refunds will be offered at our sole discretion and must meet all of the following conditions fully:

  • You are within the first 30 days of the purchase of the plugin.
  • Your issue(s) comes from not being able to install the plugin properly or get the plugin to perform its basic functions.
  • You have attempted to resolve your issue(s) with our support team.
  • No refunds will be granted after the first 30 days of the original purchase whatsoever.
  • Issues caused by 3rd party plugins, themes or other software will not provide grounds for a refund.

▾   Where do I download my purchase?

Immediately after you complete your payment, you will see your Purchase Receipt page where you will be able to download your items.

We also send you an email copy of your receipt, which includes links to download your items.

You can also download purchased files by logging in to your account. Access to re-download purchased files will be granted so long as your license key is valid. If a license key expires, download access to the associated files will be discontinued until such time as the license key is renewed.

▾   What is your Support Policy?

Support is only available to customers who have purchased an item from this site, and have a valid license from this site.

Each purchased item includes one year of dedicated support. After one year, if you would like to get support, you must renew the license for your product.

License Keys

▾   What is the license key for?

The license key gives gives you access to:

  1. Support
  2. Automatic security and maintenance updates. Automatic updates means that when a new version of your item becomes available, you will receive the update in your WordPress dashboard.
     

    (If you purchased a Single Site license, you’ll get automatic updates on 1 site. If you purchased a license for 2–5 Sites, you’ll get automatic updates on up to 5 sites. If you purchased a license for Unlimited Sites, you’ll get automatic updates on unlimited sites.)

▾   When does my license expire?

All licenses are valid for 1 year. They expire 1 year after the date of your purchase. You will receive an email notification about 1 month before the expiration date. If you don’t remember the date of your purchase, log in to your account to see your purchase history.

The email notification will give you the option of renewing your license at a discounted rate.

▾   Where can I find my license key?

Your license key is included on your receipt, which is emailed to you after you make a purchase. You can also see your license key if you log in to your account and click “View Licenses” in the “License Keys” section.

▾   If I have Live and Testing servers, do I need to activate my license on both sites?

No, you should only activate your license on your Live site. You may still install your extension on your Test server and use it without an active license.

▾   I activated my license on my Testing site, but I need it on my Live site.

First deactivate the license on your testing site, Then, you will be able to activate your license on your Live site.

License Renewal

Plugins are licensed for one year at a time. After that you may renew your license at a 30% discount to continue updates and support.

▾   What happens if a license is not renewed?

  1. Automatic security and feature updates will be discontinued.
  2. The download link in your account area (on our site) will disappear.
  3. You will no longer have access to technical support for the item.

▾   How do I renew my license?

You can renew your license in one of three ways. All three ways will ensure the renewal discounts will be automatically applied and your key will be immediately valid after purchase.

  1. About 1 month before your license expires, you will receive an email notification. This email will include a link to renew your license. You can follow that link to renew your license.
  2. Or, you can log into your Cosmic Plugins account page. Click “View Licenses” in the “License Keys” section. You’ll see there a link to renew your license. That link goes to the Checkout page with your information all pre-filled for an easy process.
  3. Alternatively, you can renew your license at our shop. (But this method requires that you have a copy of your license key number.) Add your item to the shopping cart. The item should be the same item for which you want to renew a license. On the checkout page, you will see a section for “Renewing a License Key?” Enter your license key into the field for “License Key“. Complete the checkout process to renew your license.

▾   If I renew my license, do I need to also re-download the plugin and install it again?

No, the built-in automatic update system will take care of all of that for you.

▾   Will my plugin work with an inactive or expired license?

Yes, all of our products are fully functional without a license key.

▾   Can licenses be renewed early or late?

Yes. Renewing early will extend your license from its previous end. Renewing late will give you one more year beginning from your point of renewal.

Early renewal example: If you purchased in April 2015, and renewed early in January 2016, your license would expire in April 2017, a year after the original expiration.

Late renewal example: If you purchased in April 2015, and renewed late in July 2016, your license would expire in July 2017.

▾   Is there a discount for renewing?

Yes, all license renewals at 30% off of the current price for the plugin.

▾   Are there lifetime licensing options?

Not at this time.
