ZodiacPress Planet Lookup

Optional Settings

This plugin adds a new tab to the ZodiacPress settings, called “Planet Lookup.” These are the settings you’ll find at ZodiacPress –> Settings –> Planet Lookup tab.

  1. Output

    The first setting, “Output,” lets you customize what is displayed when someone looks up a planet. The default is:

    You have {planet} in {sign}.

    The {planet} and {sign} tags will be replaced by the actual planet that is being looked up, and its sign.

    • You can add a colorful zodiac icon by using the {glyph} tag. For example, this will show a glyph after the name of the zodiac sign:

      You have {planet} in {sign} {glyph}

      This will show a glyph instead of naming the zodiac sign:

      You have {planet} in {glyph}

    • You can add the exact degree, minute, second, and the sign glyph by using the {degree} tag. For example, this will show the exact degrees, minutes, seconds and a glyph, in parenthesis, after the name of the zodiac sign:

      You have {planet} in {sign} ({degree})

    You can move the tags around however you like.

    You can also add HTML (just like the examples for entering interpretations).

  2. Allow Unknown Birth Time

    Check this setting to allow people with unknown birth times to look up planets. If this setting is enabled, and a planet changes signs on the day they enter into the form, they will be given a note that looks like this:

    NOTE: {planet} changed signs on the day you were born. It moved from {sign 1} to {sign 2}. Therefore, you will need your exact time of birth to know which of these two signs your {planet} is in.

    This setting to “allow unknown birth time” will not apply to Moon, Part of Fortune, Ascendant, Midheaven, or Vertex since these will always require a birth time.
